Erte Limited Edition Serigraph Print "Lafayette"
Item Details
A limited edition serigraph print titled Lafayette by Erte (1892-1990). This print depicts a woman wearing a Greco-Roman influenced gown with red and blue ribbon accents. In her right hand, she holds a bouquet of roses while she looks at the rose in her left hand. She stands between two bushes with purple flowers and at her feet twelve rows of red and white flowers. Her shadow on the wall resembles a French court dress from the 1700s. The artist signature can be seen in the lower right corner and is edition 41 out of 300. The piece is presented in a white mat and silver tone frame on the verso hanging hardware is installed.
