Item Details
A signed oil painting on canvas by Jeno Gussich (b. 1905). This piece depicts an older gentleman with a full beard, in a dark grey hat wearing a gold-tone and white shawl. Signed to lower right in red paint, the painting is mounted under a gold tone fillet and white matting all in a bevelled, gilt frame with floral decoration. Hanging wire and biographical decal about the artist is present to verso. Gussich, a Hungarian artist, attended the Academy of Budapest.
