Item Details
A vintage American Chippendale-style chest of drawers. The nineteenth-century block-front chest of drawers is made of solid wood with wood veneers, likely walnut. The rectangular top has scrolled edges. The corners of the chest have scrolled blocks down the sides, with a scalloped skirt and claw and ball feet. The sides of the chest feature raised, scrolled frames. The chest holds four dovetailed drawers, each fitted with a pair of pierced, solid brass pulls. The top drawer is fitted with a lock and matching pierced brass escutcheon. No maker’s marks noted. This item is located in a garage.
