Item Details

A vintage handwoven Uzbek Afghan Teppich kilim. The rug features geometric medahil, or dog-tooth motifs in colors of blue, brown, pink, golden yellow, dusky purple and black. It has a layered stepped diamond motif creating large diamond forms to the center, and has a rich espresso brown Kilim skirt with red and orange stripe to either end, with natural wool warp fringe to either end. It is abrashed throughout. Unmarked.
