A pair of china pieces by Herend in the Rothschild Bird pattern. Items include a dodecagonal serving tray and a footed vase. The tray features gilt edges and a white ceramic ground with a bird and butterfly motif in shades of red, orange, yellow, green, blue violet, and brown. The vase features a flared lip, gilt accents, and a white ground with a bird and butterfly motif in a matching pallet. The vase rests on four gilt feet attached to a square base. Each piece is marked to the underside with the Herend Hvngary Hand Painted maker’s mark. Plate stand included.
