A Mid Century Modern Biscayne dining table and six chairs by Drexel. The expandable table frame features a rectangular, walnut-finished top above an painted base with four turned and tapered legs. The underside is stamped ‘No. 4480-4 / Biscayne / By Drexel 3-55’. The lot also includes six chairs consisting of four side chairs and two armchairs. Each walnut-finished frame has a contoured, caned back and a black, upholstered seat. They rise on turned and tapered front legs ending in brass-toned caps. For a related lot see 16CLE049-219.
