An original oil on canvas by Koros. This beautiful piece by 20th century Dutch artist Koros (b. 1925) features a textured scene of two horses pulling carts racing one another. The pallet of the painting is mostly monochromatic in blacks, grays, and whites with pops of orange, yellow, pink, and blue in the clothing of the jockeys and the bridles of the horses. The piece is signed in the bottom right and housed in a black frame with ornate gilt accents.
