A signed artist proof edition edition serigraph titled, Tension Series circa 1972, by contemporary American painter and sculptor, Pierre Clerk (b.1928), who is best known for his unique works that feature strong geometrical forms, often straying from the current trends in contemporary art during his time. His pieces can be found in major museums and galleries all around the world, along with private and corporate collections as well. This print features abstract linear and curved designs in shades of blue and yellow on a red background. This piece is pencil signed and dated by the artist in the lower right margin and is listed as the artist proof edition, which is also written in the lower left margin. The print has a single white mat and is housed behind plexiglass in a simple metal frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.
