Robert Bero "Winter West Rock" Signed Limited Edition Aquatint Etching

A signed limited edition aquatint etching Winter West Rock c. 1966 by American artist and printmaker Robert Bero (1941-2007), best known for his etchings and detailed woodcuts of landscapes and trees. Bero’s work has been exhibited at numerous esteemed institutions and museums including the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian. Bero’s affinity for detail shines in this etching – a winter landscape set in the Connecticut park of West Rock. The print is pencil signed by the artist in the lower right margin and is numbered 31 out of an edition of 50, which is written in the lower left. The print has a single white mat and is housed behind plexiglass in a simple metal frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.
