Offset Lithograph after Victor Vasarely

Item Details

An offset lithograph after a painting by very well-listed Franco-Hungarian artist Victor Vasarely (1906-1997). Vasarely became famous for incorporating geometric designs and optical illusions into his art. This stunning op art piece depicts a seemingly three-dimensional bulging sphere emerging from a grid of shapes filled with pink, periwinkle, and teal shapes. The print is unsigned. It is matted in white and presented behind glass in a thin silver tone metal frame with a hanging wire. More information about the artist can be found below under Additional Information.

Condition

- matting is slightly yellowed. Light scratching to frame and a bit of accretion across glass.
