Oak Buffet by Empire Furniture Company

Item Details

A near antique oak buffet. This buffet by the Empire Furniture Company of West Virginia features a rounded top, antiqued brass drawer pulls, scalloped apron and cabriole legs. Present are two top half drawers, a second shallow drawer and a center two-door cabinet atop a wide bottom drawer. One of the top drawers is velvet lined for flatware. A paper label to the back identifies the maker ‘Empire Furniture Company’ of Huntington, West Virginia.

Condition

Consistent with age and use. Finish is damaged. Veneer is bubbled on side. Previously had another piece mounted to the back.
