Item Details

A mid to late 20th century Windsor style rocking chair by Nichols & Stone Co. The maple frame features a bowed crest above a six-spindle, sack-back. The curved arms flank a contoured, plank seat, which rises on four vase and ring turned legs connected by an H-stretcher and ending in curved rockers. The underside is stamped ‘Nichols & Stone Co. / Gardner, Mass.’ and ‘#20 Antique’. In addition, there is a paper tag printed ‘The Home of Windsor Chairs / X 3-6’.
