Antique Pewter Astor Poole Salt and Pepper Shakers in the "Cortez" Pattern
Item Details
A pair of antique pewter salt and pepper shakers from Astor Poole, in the Cortez pattern. These identical shakers share characteristics: each has a domed, pierced removable lid, and a hastate, squared body, decorated with fine floral and scrolling etchings, with a broad, square base. These tall, slender shakers are marked to the underside ‘Shaker ’Cortez’ Set Reg 536 Quaker’.
Condition
- wear to the undersides of the bases, caps are tarnishing, some wear and tarnish to bodies, consistent with age.

1.5" W x 6.5" H x 1.5" D
