19th Century Poplar Pie Safe

Item Details

A 19th century poplar pie safe. The pie safe has an overhanging board top, two doors, each with three punched tin panels decorated in a star motif, and a full width lower drawer with turned dowel pulls. The pie safe has square legs, flat panel sides with arched base detail. The pie safe has a carved wood latch to the top, one round turned pull to the right door and two poplar shelves to the interior. The back is covered in a red and white gingham vinyl.
