Charley Harper (1922-2007) was a beloved Cincinnati artist who created brilliant, graphic illustrations of wildlife. Harper was known for a style he called “minimal realism,” in which he sought to capture the essence of objects using as few visual elements as possible. This book was designed by Todd Oldham and Kelly Rakowski and has lavishly illustrated flyleaves and full color images on virtually every page of art works from throughout Harper’s career. AMMO books on its website calls this book “the definitive monograph of artist Charley Harper’s six-decades-long career.’
