A vintage Queen Victoria china mug and Princess Elizabeth jigsaw puzzle. The white china mug, with one handle, presents on one side Queen Victoria with ‘The Record Reign’ on a scroll above and ‘60 Years Victoria Our Queen’ on a scroll below. That phrase is over the initials ‘VR’. Next to that, another segment has two flags crossing behind a crown, with the words above the crown ‘God Bless Our Queen’ and below ‘1837 – 1897 – Long May She Reign’. The final illustration shows Windsor Castle above the trees, with ‘Windsor Castle’ written to the right below. The jigsaw puzzle , completed within the box and enclosed in plastic, shows the young princess standing next to a row of tulips in front of a thatched cottage. The box lid is marked ‘Princess Elizabeth Jigsaw Puzzle 1’.

Condition

- wear consistent with age and use. The box for the puzzle is faded and in poor shape.
