A 1976 Mego Corporation ‘Muhammad Ali’s Boxing Ring’ play set with original box. This set features a Muhammad Ali action figure, as well as an action figure of ‘The Opponent’, styled after Ken Norton. Also included is one long-reach activator, boxing ring posts and ropes, two buckets, two stools, Ken Norton’s blue robe and black headgear, and one pair of red boxing gloves. The back of the box is marked to the lower right with ‘© 1976 Herbert Muhammad Enterprises, Inc., Manufactured Exclusively for Mego Corp’.
Condition
- right hand broken on Muhammad Ali figure; wear to box; contents are missing some original pieces: Ali’s white robe and headgear, “Champ’s Ring” platform, indicator bell, one long-reach activator, water bottles, one pair of gloves and two sponges.
