Eleven 1971 Color Lobby Cards for Walt Disney's "The Aristocats"

A lot of eleven original 1971 theatrical release offset lithographic lobby cards promoting the release of Walt Disney’s animated film The Aristocats. Each card depicts a full-color image of a scene from the movie, and has the movie’s title and release information printed to the lower margin. A National Screen Service stamp that reads ‘71-1’ is stamped to the lower right of each. One of the cards acts as a title page; it has the film’s title printed in large letters across a rainbow of silhouettes of musical cats. There are two duplicates included in this lot. Lobby cards such as these were used by theaters to advertise upcoming films in the lobby areas of their establishments. These cards would have most likely been displayed or handed out to movie-goers.
Condition
- light discoloration, scuffing and creasing to a few of the edges.
