A complete set of eight original 1982 theatrical release offset lithographic lobby cards promoting the re-release of Walt Disney’s animated film Bambi. Each card depicts a full-color image of a scene from the movie, and has the movie’s title and release information printed to the lower margin. One of the cards acts as a title page; it has the movie’s title printed in large letters and its characters playfully posed around it. The prints are housed in their original promotional paper envelope. Lobby cards such as these were used by theaters to advertise upcoming films in the lobby areas of their establishments. These cards would have most likely been displayed or handed out to movie-goers.
