Set of 1969 Color Lobby Cards for Walt Disney's "Fantasia"

A lot of four original 1969 theatrical release offset lithographic lobby cards promoting the re-release of Walt Disney’s animated film Fantasia. Each card depicts a full-color image of a scene from the movie. The movie’s title is printed on the base of each print in the ‘psychedelic-styled’ branding the film used only for this release as the film gained popularity among high school and college students who claimed to have used psychedelic drugs while watching the imaginative film. Lobby cards such as these were used by theaters to advertise upcoming films in the lobby areas of their establishments. These cards would have most likely been displayed or handed out to movie-goers.
Condition
- to fair. Pinholes to corners form previous hanging. Very light scratching and denting across.
