A complete set of ten original 1969 theatrical release offset lithographic lobby cards promoting the re-release of Walt Disney’s animated film Peter Pan. Each card depicts a full-color image of a scene from the movie, and has the movie’s title printed to the lower margin. One of the cards acts as a cover page, featuring the movie’s title in large text, a portrait of the main character, and a swirling collage of the movie’s scenes. Lobby cards such as these were used by theaters to advertise upcoming films in the lobby areas of their establishments. These cards would have most likely been displayed or handed out to movie-goers.
