Set of 1971 Color Lobby Cards for Walt Disney's "Pinocchio"

A complete set of nine 1971 theatrical release offset lithographic lobby cards promoting the re-release of Walt Disney’s animated film Pinocchio. Each card depicts a full-color image of a scene from the movie and has the movie’s title printed on the lower margin. Includes the title card which acts as a cover page and features portraits of the movie’s characters set against a teal background. It has the NSS stamp number which reads “71 82” in red, vertically, center right, verso. Lobby cards such as these were used by theaters to advertise upcoming films in the lobby areas of their establishments. These cards would have most likely been displayed or handed out to movie-goers.

Condition

- light scratching and denting across prints. Pinholes to the top of the cover page from previous hanging.
