A complete set of original 1977 theatrical release offset lithographic lobby cards promoting the release of Walt Disney’s animated film The Rescuers. Each card depicts a full-color image of a scene from the movie, and has the movie’s title and the print’s publishing information printed to the lower margin; one of them acts as a cover page with a different layout and more information about the film. The lobby cards are housed in their original promotional paper envelope. Lobby cards such as these were used by theaters to advertise upcoming films in the lobby areas of their establishments. These cards would have most likely been displayed or handed out to movie-goers.
Condition
- very light wear to edges of print. Envelope the prints are housed in has significant yellowing and ripping.
