Two 1970 Color Lobby Cards for Walt Disney's "Sleeping Beauty"
Item Details
A pair of original 1970 theatrical release offset lithographic lobby cards promoting the re-release of Walt Disney’s animated film Sleeping Beauty. Each card depicts a full-color image of a scene from the movie and has the movie’s title and the print’s publishing information printed to the lower margin. A National Screen Service NSS stamp that reads ‘70-124’ is stamped to the lower right of one of the cards, and handwritten in the same spot on the other. Lobby cards such as these were used by theaters to advertise upcoming films in the lobby areas of their establishments. These cards would have most likely been displayed or handed out to movie-goers.
