An unframed offset lithographic original theatrical poster insert by Walt Disney Productions promoting the 1974 release of The World’s Greatest Athlete. The image depicts a blonde, long-haired wild man wearing a loin cloth swinging from a rope as he crashes through a wall of leaves; below him, a humanized tiger wearing binoculars hangs on to the bottom of the rope, while coaches, a witch doctor, a cheerleader and other athletes occupy the lower edge. The title of the film is printed in large yellow letters near the top of the poster. Additional information about the film is printed near the bottom. NSS stamp reads “ WORLD’S GREATEST ATHLETE R74/115” in black, lower right. This poster is not framed, awaiting the presentation of choice.

Condition

- poster is tri-fold and is creased accordingly from previous folded storage. Ripples from moisture to upper right portion. Pinholes in corners.
