Vintage Japanese Hand-Painted Ceramic Figures
Item Details
An assortment of three mid-century hand-painted ceramic figurines. This set includes figures of a shoe cobbler at work marked to the bottom with original ‘Lefton, Trade Mark Exclusives, Japan’ red foil sticker. The man in a black hat playing a bagpipe is marked ‘Hand Painted, Made in Occupied Japan’ to the bottom. Lastly there is an unmarked plaster figurine of a woman in French colonial style dress sewing a pattern onto an embroidery loop.
Condition
- some surface wear and crazing to bagpipe figure.
