Item Details

A Victorian copper and brass samovar. The heavily patinated footed vessel has a lid with a fluted edge; a wide, relatively shallow bowl; turned wood handles with copper brackets that end in a broad leaf shape; and a brass spout. A cylindrical tube inside the urn is designed to hold coals for keeping liquids hot.
