A signed silk screen with acrylic embellishments Batman Chanel poster by listed artist John Stango (1958). This painting depicts a screen print of pop icon Elvis Presley from the ‘This is Elvis’ movie poster with the brand name ‘CHANEL’ written upside down and backward. Along the top ‘Batman’ is painted in a vibrant red with the word ‘Batman’ being spelled on his cape in white and blue letters. Towards the lower right corner Batman is once again depicted is a running pose and the artist signature. To the lower left corner, a vintage Cadillac logo is printing in white painting, on the verso, the artist signature is once again signed at the bottom of the canvas. Hanging hardware is installed to the verso and can be displayed in your choice of frame.
