A pairing of vintage Dionne Quintuplets play and sewing sets. Includes an American Toy Works Quintuplet Doll and Sewing Set in box, model 3022. This boxed set features colorful images of red-haired toddler quintuplets playing among assorted toys to the top and reads ‘Teach ’Em to Sew Dolly Dresses’ on the box. The set includes five Japanese porcelain quint dolls with painted features wearing dresses and jackets (one jacket missing) with wired arms along with several assorted fabric dress cutouts. Clothing and dolls are marked Japan. This set is joined by a J. Pressman Co., New York Quintuplet Play and Sewing set model 1710. The set includes five Japanese porcelain dolls with matching painted blue bows and delicate features with moveable arms. Set includes two thimbles, an embroidery hoop, thread, sewing scissors and instructions.
Condition
-consistent with age and play, boxes have significant damage, dolls have finish loss and light soiling, some small sewing parts absent, soiling to fabrics.
