Paye & Baker Hammered Silver Plated Cup

Item Details

A hammered silver plated cup by Paye & Baker Manufacturing Company (1901-circa 1960 North Attleboro, MA). This features a cylindrical body with a rolled upper rim and an applied triangular loop handle. The surface has been hand hammered to create a series of divots and smooth pitting texture, a style popular in the Arts and Crafts movement of silverwork. It is marked underneath ‘P & B’ in three heart shapes.
