1881 Rogers Silver Plate Serving Tray and Filigree Mirror Tray
Item Details
A pair of silver plated serving trays. This includes a silver plated serving tray marked for 1881 Rogers, a subsidiary of Oneida Ltd. Its rectangular form features delicate incised foliate decoration, a rosette ornamented scrolling rim, and a pair of short acanthus leaf handles. The second tray in this selection is a mirrored tray with a rope detailed glass frame ornamented with delicate scrolling spider’s web silver toned filigree corners. It is bordered in gold toned metal, and lined underneath in black fabric.
Condition
- overall tarnishing and minor surface scratches to silver plate tray. Glass is loose in mirror tray, and there is some significant silver loss and extant surface dirt to mirror.
