A 1971 original one-sheet, style B, theatrical release movie poster for the release of Walt Disney’s animated musical The Aristocats. This full-color theatrical poster features a rip roaring collection of good-time cat musicians, playing their hearts out as the main characters of the film lounge on the top of the player piano as well as along the title of the film, printed to the top of the poster. The film was originally released in 1970, then re-released into theaters in 1980 and again in 1987. Five of Disney’s ‘Nine Old Men’ participated in the creation of the film, which touted such talent as Ava Gabor and Phil Harris as voice actors. Information about the main characters is printed to the bottom of the poster, and is accompanied by a small portrait of each one. NSS stamp present to verso reads ‘ARISTOCATS 71-1 1 SHEET 27 × 41’ in black. Unframed, this poster awaits your choice of presentation.
