An artist proof lithograph on paper by well-listed artist Alexander Calder (1898-1976). Having worked in a variety of mediums, Calder is most well known for his metal mobile sculptures. On a field of white, the piece depicts a collection of melting circles in red, yellow, black, and blue above blue waves. The work is marked ‘EA’ and signed in the lower left and lower right, respectively; both are marked in pencil. Mounted within a floating mat on black linen mat, the print is presented under glass in a simple silver tone frame. Hanging wire and gallery stamp present to verso.
