Vintage Handstitched Dionne Quintuplet and Their Nurse Dolls
Item Details
A group of handstitched vintage cloth dolls depicting the five Dionne Quints and a slightly larger doll, likely their Nurse or Mother. These folk art dolls depict the Quints as teenagers with painted features and yarn style hair, they are dressed in identical blue-grey dresses with red trim, bonnets and felted shoes. The largest doll is similarly decorated and clothed in a striped dress with a bonnet and apron. Dolls are unmarked.
Condition
-consistent with age and use, light soiling noted to some dolls’ clothing, one doll has a tear where her leg meets hip, pulls at seams in legs to some dolls.
