Vintage Opalescent White Haviland Limoges Pitcher
Item Details
A hand-painted white pitcher produced by Haviland of Limoges, France, between 1894 and 1931. This concave cylindrical pitcher features an opalescent finish with a varying sheen of purple, blue and green tones. The scalloped rim, scalloped six-sided foot, and scroll-motif handle are painted in gold tone. The underside of this pitcher has a black maker’s mark reading ‘Haviland France’ and a red decorator’s mark reading ‘Haviland & Co., Limoges.’
