Set of Chinese Clay Figurines
Item Details
A set of Chinese terra cotta warrior replicas. The four replicas and horse are made out of red clay with a black matte exterior. These clay warriors are intricate depictions of soldiers that fought in the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. Terra cotta figurines were buried with the emperor to protect him in his afterlife. The height of these figurines indicated their status in the army. The ceramic mask relief has deep set eyes and a small ceramic stand.
