Vintage Lyon Industrial Metal Stool

Item Details

A vintage Lyon industrial metal stool is made of heavy gauge steel. The stool features a curved top rail, twin metal back supports, a square perforated seat with curved corners, four angled-metal legs, angled-metal box stretcher, and pad feet. It is circa 1940s-1950s and is painted sea foam green.
One of the stretchers is imprinted with ‘Lyon Metal Products Inc. Aurora, Illinois.’ These industrial Lyon steel stools were often used as artist, drafting, bar, and machinist chairs/stools.

Condition

Some nicks, scrapes and wear to the finish which is consistent with use. Some places of light rust.
