Porsgrund Norwegian Christmas China Including Designer Signed Pieces

A collection of Christmas china from the Porsgrund porcelain company in Norway. This collection includes pieces with dates ranging from 1992 to 1997, all in the Hearts and Pines pattern. Several pieces are signed by pattern designer Grete Rónníng, with some inscriptions also including the year, the words ‘God Jul’ (‘Merry Christmas’), or a person’s name. This collection includes nine coffee cups, nine salad plates, eight dinner plates, three serving bowls, two soup bowls, two round platters, one rectangular platter, one pitcher with a lid, one creamer, and a pair of salt and pepper shakers; and comes with five zippered storage bags. These pieces have slightly varying marks, all incorporating the Porsgrunds Porselænsfabrik anchor mark and the words ‘Porsgrund’ and ‘Norway.’
