1934 Dionne Quintuplets Chalkware Table Lamp

A chalkware table lamp base depicting the Dionne Quintuplet babies with a man, presumably Dr. Allan Roy Dafoe. The lamp features the five babies snuggled side-by-side under a blue blanket with the French text ‘5 Jumelles’ (twins) and the back is inscribed 1934 Brevete.

Condition

-consistent with age and use, lamp worked when tested. Lamp base has moderate blemishes to finish throughout with some finish loss and pink paint splatter to front. The socket may not be original.
