1890s Edition of Six George Eliot Novels

Six novels from the ‘Columbus Edition’ of George Eliot’s works (New York: United States Book Company, c. 1890-1893). These clothbound volumes feature black scrollwork on the spines framing the title of each novel, and a gilt box on each spine reading ’Eliot’s Works.’ This collection includes Adam Bede, The Mill on the Floss, Romola, Felix Holt, Middlemarch, and Daniel Deronda.
