A vintage Villeroy & Boch Mettlach squat 1/2 liter stoneware stein. This stein features a painted image of a man drinking beer on a relief panel, signed by artist Waritz. The banner on the reverse side is also in relief, and features a German phrase. It includes a pewter lid with decorative finial and thumb hold, and is incised on the base, Mettlach VB with logo, Ges.Gesch#1533.
