Carlotta Edwards Offset Lithographs "Swan Lake" and "Giselle"

A pair of offset lithographs after original oil paintings titled Swan Lake and Giselle by listed artist Carlotta Edwards (1894-1977), who is well known for her depictions of ballet. Each depicts a scene from the romantic ballets, during the Grand pas de deux between Odette and Prince Siegfried, and Giselle and Duke Albrecht respectively, surrounded by the female corps. One piece is plate signed in the lower right corner and both are presented under mats in gilt frames. There are wires attached to the backs thus each piece is ready to hang. The backs also retain retailer’s tags from ‘W.T. Grant Co.’

- some minor surface wear to frames.
