A complete 15 volume set of The History of United States Naval Operations In World War II by Rear Admiral Samuel Eliot Morison, Navy Reserve, published in hard cover by Castle Books, 2001. They have blue covers with gold tone lettering on black with black and white illustrations inside. Morison was commissioned by President F Roosevelt to write this multi-volume account, granting him and his crew special access to naval personnel, ships, and records, participating in combat and recording the events for historical record. The original volumes were published between 1947-62.
