1916 Victor "Victrola" Record Player

A 1916 Victor “Victrola” XI record player. This vintage record player by Victor Talking Machine Co. was the company’s most popular models and features a hinged top compartment where the player is stored, a key to the front which opens the compartment, original, nickel hardware, ‘crescent moon’ carvings to the front side posts, two lower cabinets capable of storing two different size records, and a dark mahogany finish. The interior of the atop compartment has a metal label to the inside marked “VV-XI 236551 G”. The handle was cranked and the turntable turns but was not tested otherwise. Has original, paper license notice attached to back and includes several replacement needles and record cleaning brush.

Condition

- fair, some scratches to finish on top, front, and side. Handle was cranked and turntable turns.
