A set of Herend Hungarian mouse and mischievous cat on yarn porcelain figurines painted in a blue signature fishnet design with 24K gold accents. This mouse appears to be begging for cheese, and the cat is standing on a rust ball of yarn. The fishnet design was first inspired by a Herend painter in 1858, who was influenced by China fish scale style patterns. Herend is a Hungarian porcelain manufacturing company, specializing in hand painted and gilded luxury hard paste porcelain. Both figurines includes a blue Herend Hungary porcelain mark. The mouse is incised with Herend, style #15304. The cat is incised with style #5221, with hand painted #155.
