A Herend Hungarian pair of frog figurines. The large frog is painted in a rust signature fishnet design with 24K gold accents, while the little frog on a ball includes the black signature fishnet design and is holding a ball and wearing a crown. The fishnet design was first inspired by a Herend painter in 1858, who was influenced by China fish scale style patterns. Herend is a Hungarian porcelain manufacturing company, specializing in hand painted and gilded luxury hard paste porcelain. The rust frog figurine includes a blue Herend Hungary porcelain mark, is incised with style #15321, and includes a hand painted #705. The black frog figurine includes a blue Herend Hungary porcelain mark, is incised with style #15369, and hand painted style 15369 NHN14, produced June 1995, with hand painted #264.
