A Herend Hungarian chick porcelain figurine painted in a yellow signature fishnet design with 24K gold accents. This design depicts a chick with yellow wings standing on an oval base. The fishnet design was first inspired by a Herend painter in 1858, who was influenced by China fish scale style patterns. Herend is a Hungarian porcelain manufacturing company, specializing in hand painted and gilded luxury hard paste porcelain. This figurine includes a blue Herend Hungary porcelain mark with form/style #5034, pattern code VHNN, in 1996. It also includes the incised style number, and hand painted #035.
