A W. Thurston original figural oil on canvas. Features a blond woman in blue robe with scarlet sash, standing in an alcove with her foot on an orb and a cornucopia in her right hand. The cornucopia or horn of plenty is a symbol of abundance and nourishment and originated in antiquity and has been widely used in Western art. The piece is signed in paint to the bottom right and is presented without glass or matt in an ornately carved wood and gilt gesso frame.

Condition

Wear is commensurate with light use.
