Pair of Vintage German Bank Notes
Item Details
A pair of vintage German bank notes (Reichesbanknote) from Berlin, April 21st, 1910. Bills are stamped with red ink ‘F-3644289’ and ‘A-3198336’. Personal message is typed on both notes reading: ‘Sept. 12, 1945 – Unter (Coburg) Germany – Love Joe’. This date was ten days after Japan officially surrendered and WWII was declared ‘over’.
Condition
- some wear consistent with age and circulation;
- some vertical and horizontal creases from folding.
