Item Details
An antique marble top sideboard with burled cherry veneers and rosewood inlay, circa early to mid nineteenth century. This piece was purchased by its current owner in England during 1964, and it features a beveled top of white marble with gray veining cut to fit the lower cabinet section and its squared corbels. The cabinet is constructed from cherry with burled cherry veneers and rosewood inlays in a foliate motif. The two mirrored doors at the front open to reveal a large internal storage compartment with one shelf, and the two curved doors flanking it both open to a smaller compartment with one removable shelf each.
